Other library facilities: The Maine Women Writers Collection on the Westbrook College Campus, designated a national literary landmark, is a pre-eminent special collection of literary, cultural and social history sources by and about women authors, either natives or residents of Maine. The New England Osteopathic Heritage Center was recently created to preserve the unique history of osteopathic medicine in New England and to promote greater understanding of the profession’s contributions to the region and the nation.
