I guess I should be more specific - admissions suck. The administration can be a bit frustrating at times.

I have heard the exact same thing about liking or hating Wayne State. Many of my college friends transferred there for their bachelors degree and none all of them complained about the lazy ass staff making admissions difficult. Even some of my co-workers have taken classes there for career advancement, but none of them liked going down into that area of town, especially for night classes. The bottom line is that Detroit is a friggin Ghetto and Wayne State is in Detroit. Sadly, itâ€™s only getting worse.

It's really not dangerous. At the bookstore they throw in a handgun with any purchase of $100 or more. It's a good deal when you think about it.

I would have to agree with you. Do not try and go to the UGL (Undergraduate Library) because soooooooooooooo much commotion is going on it is hard to believe that anyone is actually going to get a degree from this University! I received three classes toward my specialty in logistics and went into the real world with no grasp whatsoever on the field itself. My teachers were insincere and frankly talked amongst themselves as if carload was a common term and never really explained how it all works in the real world. If you want to study the supply chain or logistics go in the armed forces, NOT WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY!

Yes, it is WSU orientation day for newcomers. As I walk back to the parking structure and feel like a bad ass thinking, "this hood is not so bad," a man comes darting after another young man, the younger boy obviously with more steam in his engine outran the white man, but before the chase had died a poor white officer lost his shoe by bonking his noggin on a protruding box that was attached to the cement infrastructure of the parking deck. I felt so bad for the guy that I told him "the young guy, he ran that-a-way!!!) Too bad financial aid already signed me up!
