I had a BS in engineering and i'm doing my master now( both @ WSU) . I haven't heard any bad things about the nursing school is so far. I assume the students enjoy the program.
All I heard is that WSU medical related fields have a big hospital network( DMC, Karmanos...) . The medical school, pharmacy school and the physician assistant program are a wayyyyyyyy too competitive so if you're not going for any of these 3, you are ok.

Oakland university good for medical field? I don't know about that. I thought U of M Ann Arbor was( I might be wrong)

I heard Wayne State is a good school. Myself, I prefer University of Michigan.
I went to Dearborn some relatives went to Ann Arbor. They have excellent programs. I guess it all depends on your major/minor. Their buildings are categorized by degree ie Engineering, Business, BASL etc Me, I went for Pre Med, unfortunately it became too costly. So if you can afford it I would recommend UofM. I plan to go back but with a new home and all its added expenses I can't afford it at the moment. Good Luck in your search.
