This is so true and explains why I was a "B" student instead of an "A" student. Furthermore, these rules apply in real life where your professor is replaced by a boss who is far less intelligent. Unfortunately, modern corporations have gotten so large they act like the government. They are bureaucracies with obtuse vice presidents who are only interested in increasing their bonus checks. Experimenting, innovating or doing the right thing does not get him his bonus check. Contrarily, kissing ass and playing office politics is usually the only way to get ahead. So, the university is the perfect training ground for the corporate world because it teaches you to suck up and spew bullshit.
