I am a sophomore at the College of Wooster and I only have good things to say about my college experience. Wooster is a perfect place for those students are looking to stand out in a crowd and to make personal relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the local community. Wooster is a tight knit school bursting with opportunities for students to engage in a global world.

  2. Scott says:

I'm a Junior on the College of Wooster campus and I'm a double major in Political Science and Communication. Finding this college, for me, was a happy accident. I stumbled across it online as I was applying for College elsewhere and decided to add it it my Common App list on a whim. The more that I researched the college the more I realized that it was exactly what I was looking for in a school – small liberal arts college with a fun community and the opportunity to have a personal educational experience. Three years in to my time here, I can't imagine myself anywhere else.

Take a look at Wooster. If it appeals to you at all, come visit. Nothing can give you an accurate idea about what a college feels like besides spending time on campus. And nothing will feel like the College of Wooster.

I knew the minute I set foot on campus that Wooster was the right choice for me. Five years later, I have not once regretted that decision.
I love Wooster. I love pretty much everything about it! It's a small school where you get to know your professors well and people bend over backwards to help you. The students are great too! I've made friends here that I know will be there for me for the rest of my life. The students are fun and smart (some are so humble about being so smart that it might takes you weeks to notice) and they are genuinely good people. You have to come visit the school to see what I mean. It's a gorgeous campus, as well. I even love walking to class for that reason. . I've had some amazing times here and discovered what I am passionate about with a lot of help from the college. I will be sad when my four years at Wooster come to an end.

  4. Nick says:

Wooster has it all. Good academics, a beautiful campus, great professors, energetic and supportive sports teams, and plenty of extracurricular activities. It has been the perfect choice for me, and being unsure of my major, it's also been the perfect supportive environment for me to explore different majors and discover my interests. It's a great community…so glad I came here!

  5. Ilana says:

I was lucky to find Wooster. It has everything I wanted in a school and everything that I didn’t even know that I was looking for. Honestly, I knew as soon as I stepped on campus for the first time that this is exactly where I wanted to be. The campus is beautiful, but what attracted me the most to Wooster was the sense of community. With such a small student body there is a very strong support system not only from students but from the faculty as well. The student and faculty relations are really strong and I know that I never feel like a number among other students.

  6. Dan says:

Wooster brought me into the mid-west. I’m not a snobby rich kid, I’m just from the East coast with family on the West coast. Everything in the middle was a blur that I knew little about. Initially, I figure I would only apply to east coast colleges, but then I saw Wooster. My older sister happened upon the school thanks to CTCL and so she went here before me. I knew little about the college, but I started to see more and more of it. Wooster succeeded in getting me to do two things I thought I wouldn’t; I’m going to college in the mid-west, and to the same school that my sister did.

It is a small school, but even in the short time that both my sister and I were here, I never felt like I was in her shadow. Wooster encourages you to pursue what you are interested in. I’ve joined a lot of groups, made a lot of friends, and taken classes in several different departments. This school will challenge you and this school will change you for the best
